I have a Wiser 2 unit which has been operating fine via the Wiser App. Since connecting to the NBN which required a new Telstra modem, I can no longer connect to the Wiser App. Any suggestions.

    did your router change?

    If yes

did the IP address range of the router for the nbn change ?

was the wisers IP address allocated by the router (dhcp rather than static) if so do you allocate the same ip

I could think of a two possible issues.

    1. Without doubt your public facing IP address would have changed with the move to a NBN delivered service. You can check your public address by using a service such as https://whatismyipaddress.com/ If you don't use a dynamic DNS service you will need to update your app to connect to this address. If you use a dynamic address it should be up to date, but you can check by running nslookup from a windows PC and then typing in your hostname and ensure it resolved to the new address.

    2. The new router will need to have port forwarding configured to forward the appropriate ports to the wiser.
