    Hi Guys,

I have upgraded to V1.7.2 (using partial installer) and have noticed the following:

    1/
Searching & scanning of the network is quicker but the download of All -> Network seems to be much slower. Nearly 10 mins for 72 units, where I was only refreshing programs on some units but chose All -> Network instead of selecting the modified units.

    2/
If you go to the ToolKit Help file option and select any topic, once you maximise the screen you can not change the focus or swap screens you must close the help file.

    3/
I can't find the basic examples any more. I thought there was an example of how to configure a key input to let the fan run for x mins after the light is turned off, or how to set up a key input to manual over ride a sensor. Where have these gone ????

Well that's about it for now.... Keep up the good work.

    Hi Jes,

    Thanks for the feedback.

    1) 10 minutes may be normal for transferring of 72 units. Time depends on what unit types you have. Basically the more parameters they contain, the more time is required for the transfer. Do you mean you had these units transferring faster in the previous version of Toolkit?

    2) This is fixed already. Toolkit 1.8 or the one coming after it will contain the fix.

    3) Do you see them under Tutorials help chapter?

    Regards,
    George

    Hey George,

    See reply below:

Yes, the units to netwrok transfer was faster previously, but that could be because I may now have changed a parameter or two that may have slowed it down. Not sure, how can I tell ?

    Great News

I can not find these examples anywhere. All I can find now is just a basic line about the theory but not the actual example. Are they supposed to exist ?

    Thanks again.

    I'm replying to question three

    Hi Jesmond

Tutorials can be found in the Contents tab of the help.

    1. Get out of any unit GUI in Toolkit.
    2. Click F1 to view the complete Help.
    3. Click on the Contents tab
    4. Find the 'Book' entitled 'Tutorials'.
    5. Open the book and find the book entitled 'Using timers within key input units'
    6. Open the book and find the 'Control of lights and fans with timers' Book
This contains the example you are looking for.

Alternatively, Click on the Index tab and type in 'Control of lights and fans with timers'

    Cheers
