    I have noticed in the latest toolkit when you open a device that has a different firmware version on the network than in the database is asks you to convert and update the database.

    This worked for "Multisensor 1.9 -> 2.0"
    This worked for "PC Interface 4.2 -> 4.4"
    This worked for "BW C-Touch 4.2 -> 4.4"
    This worked for "CNI 4.2 -> 4.4"

    I got no such message on replacing a DIMMER....
    has every unit type got special upgrade code ??

    why does saving from network to database not update the firmware version

    I fixed the issue by deleting the unit from database and then saving it again

    Thanks CC, logged this one. (#9519)

    In this particular case having different versions won't do any harm.

    Cheers
