Upgrade firmware wiser 2

Hi

Just downloaded lastest PICED and wanted to update program and firmware on wiser 2 unit.
It keeps asking me for the password to start transferring firmware.

Authentication failed
please enter password and try again

what password??

I have entered password for wiser 2 unit and not right.
I have changed my profile password on PICED and wiser 2 unit but still wrong password.

Any help?

 

Try user name admin and password admin.
I believe part of the upgrade is to encourage better passwords, but as you are at present on the old firmware the older requirements are active. Any new passwords will be transferred when you get to update the project.
I believe their is no back door entry if you forget the password other than resetting the unit.

i did try admin admin and also default default but no luck.

 

There is a work around is going through web browser(Chrome) http://ip address/firmwareupgrade.html to upgrade directly.
