    Thanks for the reply.
The memory card is very functional, however, the program Win32DiskImager can't utilise it. I will try buying a new one to see. And try a different computer too.
The theory is that the extracted image loaded onto this memory card will recover the unit? I have been advised the firmware doesn't reside on this memory card... I expect that means it try's to recover from it only.

So another computer was able to utilise Win32DiskImager without any problem. I used the extracted file (from 7Zip now without file extension), and loaded that onto the disk. Both the original and a new micro SD. I now just get the MRA, Power, Zigbee LEDs illuminate with nothing else. No IP address found etc.

Do you load just the one file "wiser2firmware_1_31_463" on to the disk? Once you've inserted the disk back into the device, do you simply turn it on and wait, or try reset processes etc?

Also to note, I have no activity on the LAN port. No flashing indicators at all.

    Thanks again.

I'm failing at step 1. The cover flexes but simply won't pop off. Is there a trick to it???

Got the cover off, mine took serious prying to get the tabs to pop.

PICED is not finding it on my network. How do I work out it's IP address?

Thanks but no joy. On network or directly connected...

It dies once before, had to send it to Clipsal last time (3 yrs ago). Would rather be able to fix it myself

Nothing on HDMI. Never configured it, should it show something on boot?

The two tabs are supposed to allow you to "pop" the cover, there are just a couple of plastic tabs into recesses but for me that just didn't happen. I had some plastic tools that are specific to prying open cases. I had to use these and even then it was not simple but it "popped" eventually.

What has happened to your Wiser? Lights come on but it's unresponsive?
