Can we get a eta on when there will be a fix for the issue where the list view of devices gets reset.

Also can we have a option to completely remove the Rapid "SLOW" commissioning tool or at least a option to let the user decide what the default option to open is. Not sure who's brain child this was but probably could have been executed or thought out better.

Seems there has been less testing with these latest versions......

Assume you're talking about the Multisensor Rapid Commissioning dialog?

You can right-click on the unit in the Units list and select "Open in Classic" to directly access that version of the dialog.

Out of interest, what's the specific issue you have with the Rapid Commissioning dialog? It had two main objectives:

    1) Provide a simpler way to configure the the more common scenarios.

    2) Act as a proving ground for new technologies in developing UIs. Which is why it looks and behaves very different to the classic dialogs.

It was never intended to give access to the full set of Multisensor functionality which is why the Classic view was retained.

If you have any specific feedback to give we would love to take it on board.

    Cheers :)

    Hi Daniel,

Why was it made the default way to open?

If working down list of sensor (lets say 60+ sensors) I will have to press down or select each sensor, then click on open in classic. If I work they old way press down and enter or by accident double click on sensor it opens the rapid tool, then need to wait for rapid to open (tool takes to long to open), and then select classic.

Now lets say I have a building full of them and there are 10+ networks. Gets very slow to check basic settings, eg rename, status, etc.

Would have been better the opposite way around have a rapid button or at minimum have the user choose what they want (basic mode and advanced mode). As now this process seems to be very disjointed from the way everything else.

Bugs like the unit list being reset every time you save, the tree reset and the overall stability of the last few versions don't really help either.

Why not release a beta/test version with new options and let people discuss before putting into a release version ?

Love to know when this bug is going to be fixed "unit list being reset every time you save" I am going to roll back to version 1.14.3 because it is such a time waste + hanging my computer for 15 seconds ever time is a real awesome new feature.

    Toolkit 1.14.6 ARRGGG!!!!!

Ok so downloaded the latest and greatest and more bugs.

Click application drill down to lighting and then select a group to see what units are associated. ALL UNITS SAY NEWUNIT. Open it and is displayed correctly, move off of it and back to NEWUNIT again.

Also in Unit view found that new groups have been added to units that were not there before.......sensors and switches now have groups in them where previously were blank.....

Still no fixes for any of the other issues though..........Anyone testing ???

Rolled back again and all is good... Why bother adding new features when the ones currently have are broken!
