Toolkit 1.11 SSL error when connecting to C-Gate

    One user reported that every time he was starting Toolkit this error would pop up "The Secure Socket Layer DLL could not be found. Cannot connect to C-Gate server. Please reinstall Toolkit."

    While we are investigating this issue the workaround for you if you are getting this error is to download the later version of OpenSSL DLLs from here

    OpenSSL_0_9_8_8.zip

    and copy them to the directory C:\Clipsal\CBusToolkit or where you have C-Bus Toolkit installed on your computer.

    If you are getting this error please let us know.

    Just got this error too. Win XP SP3. The two Vista machines were ok.

    Received same error. Win XP SP 3. The workaround seemed to fix the issue! Thanks :):)

    Have also installed 1.11.0 on Win 7 and it works fine.

    Toolkit 1.11.1 is now available. Announcement here. It includes a fix for this SSL DLL error. Please let us know if you still experience problems.
