Tool kit connection to PAC after a long time

    I am wondering of others experence this.

    I have hand this happen 3 times now and different sites

    Customers have a PAC and this is used to program as well.

    I come to the site after a year or more just to do some programming changes.

    PAC working fine. I connect the USB lead the Laptop sees the USB port.

    fire up took kit and it just hangs at the open network.

    reboot and try again the same thing.

    the only way to fix it is to unplug the cbus connection from the PAC and reboot it. This is a pain as it mean removing the face off the switch board.

    The cbus USB connects fine.


    Is there something that happens after the PAC does not have the USB used for along time ?

    There are no known issues with the PAC that would cause this.
