SpaceLogic C-Bus Commission 2.9.0 and Toolkit 1.18.2 Release

New Versions of Commision Tools for C-Bus are now available.
Spacelogic C-Bus Commission V2.9.0 "SLCC" for short is the tool required for Programming of all the latest C-Bus products released. (see product listing below)
C-Bus Toolkit V1.18.2 Tool required for maintaining and commissioning of the existing C-Bus products Not listed against SLCC.

Changes in the C-Gate 3 server software, packaged with both SLCC and Toolkit requires Both commissioning tools to be updated to these versions or later. The Installation of Older Toolkit versions less than 1.18.0 and older SLCC packages less than 2.8.0 will result in incompatible dependencies between the software packages. Please ensure both Toolkit 1.18.2 and Spacelogic C-Bus Commission 2.9.0 are installed together. The order of install is not important. ​

Installations of C-Gate 2 and Toolkit 1.16.4 or lower, On the same PC as Spacelogic C-Bus Commission and Toolkit 1.17.x and above is NOT SUPPORTED. Installing/re-installing C-Gate2 and Toolkit 1.16.4 and or below onto a PC with C-Bus Spacelogic Commission or Toolkit 1.17.0 and above, Will create conflicts with both C-Gate3 server and with your C-Bus Toolkit project files. furthermore future updates to SLCC and Toolkit (now supported automatically through the software updater) will create additional issues if encountering C-Gate2 and related project files.
Toolkit 1.18.2 Can be used for all your Legacy C-Bus product support and maintenance where your are not making use of any new C-Bus products under the SpaceLogic C-Bus Range. This version of toolkit is maintained with all security updates, and also any fixes to the toolkit software in general. Toolkit can also be used to import Legacy projects from toolkit archive files *.cbz and will convert these projects from there XML format to the new db.format. if you have not backed up your projects using toolkit, then you can backup your xml projects into a zip archive format, rename the new archive to a .cbz extension and do the same task. ​

Spacelogic C-Bus Commission 2.9.0(SLCC) and <project.xml>. For users who require a project.xml file for use with third party product importing of C-Bus information SLCC software permits the export / conversion of a project.db down to a project.xml file compatible with C-GateV2 format. Note that project.xml file is saved of to a fixed folder location on your PC. attempts to change the locations will result in not being able to save the file, Users of this service need to be careful and should not place this project.xml file back into any project locations on the same PC as where SLCC or toolkit 1.17.0 and above are installed, this includes old locations for projects such as C-Gate2 "C:\Clipsal\C-Gate2\tags". as you risk possible corruption or loss of content of the C-GateV3 project. Warning. project.xml files created using this method do not contain all project information that can be stored into the project.db files and this re-importing of this content over an existing project in C-Gatev3 will result in loss of content. ​
