    Hi all,

Can anybody tell me if I can set the recall level of a block through C-Gate?

I'm trying to setup a way to have certain lights which are triggered by internal PIR's come on dimmer at night once I've set a 'Night Time' trigger. I currently have a 'Night' button on a DLT that sets a user trigger so a C-Touch procedure can set up night time lighting and random time intervals to keep outside lights on. I would like this procedure to also be able to change the level on certain light whilst in 'Night' mode.

My first thought was to get the C-Touch (via C-Gate) to change the recall value on the PIR if the trigger is set.

    Open to any other ideas.

    TDB.

Simple answer use the output units logic with a schedule running in your C-Touch
Hence at night time a Group Address is set to a lower lever and during other times set to 100% .
In the output unit using Min logic tick the logic box relevant to the group addess the Pir is controlling and select in the logic group the Group address used in the schedule.
Result when PIR is triggered the load will be dimmer at night time

You mentioned random times - do you have logic colour ctouch or PAC ? if so the world is yours for the setting up.

Hey Wonkey - tell everyone how you got that nickname :D

This is a unit programming operation.. and can ONLY be done via Toolkit..

A PAC would provide a few neat solutions :)

    Peter,
Dare I ask what "Old School Material" you are referring to?
I don't remember seeing anything relating to that topic in any of my old school textbooks :p

The only old school material PSC ever paid any attention to were his old tattered playboy mags. The ones with the covers missing or torn, the centre folds falling out and the corny jokes inside :p :p :p

Considering he never paid any attention at school it is a bit of a modern day miracle how he turned out to be a handy automation programmer... ;)
