question on thermostats

    might not be the right place to post this but...

    I have some simple heating and cooling kit that is already controlled by relays..

    I use some external sw (cqc) to control this based on timers and temp.

    i want to make my system less reliant on cqc, and want to add some cbus thermostats to the system.

    when complete 4 zones, and i guess one of the 4 zone stats...(5070THPPG, WE)

    I assume these work with the temp sensors (5031RDTSL)

    1. can someone confirm that the sensors broadcast, and i can therefore get the temp values via cgate ?
    2. what sort of control is there over the thermostat, can i program (and configure) that via cgate ?

    advice would be appreciated.

    The temperature sensors you list can act as remote sensors for the thermostat.

    C-Gate can control and monitor the thermostat.

    Plain ole big ordinary lighting commands to cgate WILL NOT control or monitor the thermostat, its a bit different, but it is supported (and was back in about 2009).

    There is a cgate manual - hunt around in the toolkit and cgate folders looking for a PDF file. That would be a good start.
