Phrase Builder Additions

How often are updates to the recorded phrase/words in TICA made?
Here is my request list for words to be added:

blind
blinds
curtain
curtains
louvre
louvres
vergola
slide
volume
scene
scenes
custom
media
video

I would be nice to be able to record our own phrases...

From time to time. I have a list of new words that have been recorded that weill be released soon.

blind - Added to requested list
blinds - coming in update
curtain - Added to requested list
curtains - Added to requested list
louvre - Added to requested list

slide - Added to requested list (note: "Sliding" coming)
volume - Added to requested list

Sounds... (but in phrase builder)

Anouncement Bell (This is played before a phrase when sent out audio output) it tell the person some thing is comming so they dont miss the first word)

(attached is a WAV file example [I hand to zip it as the forum software would not allow upload of wav files])

People want a different door bell sound depending which door bell is pressed. the current door functionality does not allow for this. if they are just sounds in phrase builder this can then be done.

Can the quality of the existing door bell sounds be improved. (ie remove the HISS and crackle)

Is the re-recording of the word "lock" by the male voice on the to-do list? He's miss-read it as "look"

 

does Tica V2.4.0 include any new vocab ??

when is the next version with some of the words suggested in this thread comming ??

There is no specific date set for a new release with more words. A lot of the work has been done for these new words (most of the recording). Unfortunately other projects are taking precedence. I will raise the issue to try and get it on the schedule. Might be able to get it slotted in between two projects as there is probably about a weeks work + testing.

 

No there is no new vocab.

 

Does that mean all these words(in this thread) [except for PSC offering ] + the others on the internal CIS list... ??

I would have to spend some time cross referencing the list to confirm what is and is not on the list.

 

on version 2.2.0.215 there are not the words:

Hot
Service

For Hot Water Service

Please add these to the request.

 

Unfortunately neither of those are in the words that have been recorded waiting for release. I have logged a request for them, but there is no date set for the next recording session.

 

What I realy want to know if the "Anouncement Bell" is on the list.
This has become realy important when connected to a MARPA to wake up the PA input ready for the words to come...(this way you dont miss the first word)

I dont suppose you are allowed to release the comming word list

I have added a request for this. Hopefully this can be done with needing professional recording and can get in the update when it arrives.
