Not Detecting on your IP Network - Initial Install

    For first time installers - I've not promoted the W2 until now.... for various Clipsal QA & bleeding edge reasons...

    Maybe this will save a 30 cent phone call (is that what it is today?) and probably $300 of your work time.

    Don't waste hours trying to troubleshoot if your W2's do not connect to the network you have already established via the cut down "it'll work" paper - yet even delving into the online download which is much of the same....

    Seems 2 out of the 3 units I've had ( murphy's law the first 2 ) needed a hard reset to act properly and detect their network via DHCP.

    why; hmmmm

    Plug it into your network and power on with the rest button pressed until it looks less 'red blinky'...

    result - another valuable pearl of wisdom to the forum for people who expect it to work out of the box.

    Note: one of the units did not even show up in the LAN socket led's - the other refused to connect to the "Control Systems IP Utility".
