For first time installers - I've not promoted the W2 until now.... for various Clipsal QA & bleeding edge reasons... Maybe this will save a 30 cent phone call (is that what it is today?) and probably 0 of your work time. Don't waste hours trying to troubleshoot if your W2's do not connect to the network you have already established via the cut down "it'll work" paper - yet even delving into the online download which is much of the same.... Seems 2 out of the 3 units I've had ( murphy's law the first 2 ) needed a hard reset to act properly and detect their network via DHCP. why; hmmmm Plug it into your network and power on with the rest button pressed until it looks less 'red blinky'... result - another valuable pearl of wisdom to the forum for people who expect it to work out of the box. Note: one of the units did not even show up in the LAN socket led's - the other refused to connect to the "Control Systems IP Utility".
