Has anyone done MQTT integration?

I see there are a few folks that have setup MQTT integration to their customers networks. Just wanted to see if anyone here has done this?

 

I haven't yet but it might be part of the plan for my home.

I'm trying to retrofit a few things to cbus at the moment and when they are done I'm going to try to get some integration, either through MQTT and/or openhab.

It doesn't sound easy at the moment and it will be a while before I get everything going.

Is there a direct integration of cbus into openhab without MQTT?

 

I don't think so with openhab 1.
Maybe with openhab 2, not sure how direct it is though but I haven't tried it either. From what I read (there is one post on the forums) The guy who put the binding in there isn't on there much. Others have used it but doesn't have full communication.

I am doing cbus openhab integration. cgate , cgateweb is actively running.Also openhab commands gets subscribed on mqtt client.And cgateweb also recieves the commands.The issue is in cgate.

The cgate status shows following error.
Unable to create instance lock file permission Denied
