I run C-Gate on a Win 7 PC connected to a serial PCI. Touchscreen connects to this and leaves CNI free for TouchSoft app. Recently changed to a new touchscreen which (unfortunately) runs Win 8. I can successfully run c-gate and Homegate on the Win 8 machine (connecting to C-Bus via CNI) but I cannot connect from the Win8 PC using Toolkit remote to the Win 7 c-gate. I can, however, connect the Win 8 PC running Homegate to the Win 7 C-gate. Any ideas why Homegate is happy to connect to c-gate but Toolkit isn't? When Toolkit connects the c-gate machine shows the following (connect and instant disconnect) and C-gate on win 8 gives a 2080 error.
