error 20046

    I connected a general input to cbus. I could scan it, but I couldnt open it for programming.
    It showed an error box, error 20046.
    The error was 'failed while setting run/halt flag'.
    I replaced the unit with another, but the error was shown again.
    Can anybody point out why this error came?

    The most likely cause is that the 24V supply to the unit is not connected. This particular unit requires an external power connection before it can be succesfully programmed.

    If you are powering it with 24V DC connect the negative supply line to the left terminal. I first tried the other way around and got the 20046 error.
