In the lighting App why can i not have DLT text on the group levels like in the other Apps ?? dave
Because a level in lighting is just that - a level - a value from 0% to 100%, and labelling a LIGHTING level does not make sense. In the Trigger Control Application you can label the combination of the Trigger Group and Action Selector. In some cases the Action Selector is analogous to a level, but not in lighting.
So if i have a DLT switch that controls the same load say outside lights and 4 of the gangs set the lights to off-low-med-high, i want the DLT in the switch to reflect that. dave
What you could do is setup the four keys to be scenes (1 - 4). In each scene you can set the same GA to 4 different levels. Each scene will then have a different Action Selector which means you can label the DLT to suit. Another benefit of doing it this way is that the LEDs will indicate the last set scene (rather than having all LEDs indicate the same status if 4 keys were controlling same GA)...

1. Set first four key functions to Scene 1 - 4 2. Click on Edit Function button to create one Trigger Control Group 3. Create an action selector for each scene (these are levels of the Trigger Control Group) (see image 1) Create your scenes. In your case each scene will contain the one GA to 4 different levels. Once all 4 action selectors are created, go to Edit Languages and under the Control Application you should see the 4 Action Selectors which you can then rename. (image 2)
Newman understand with triggers as notes in thread header i want the lighting APP. mark says it coming so the answer in the pipeline dave
Dave But the answer to which Mark reffers to is coming in a future build of Toolkit which you don't have today. What Claude and I are saying is that you can do it right now, just by making your 4 lighting levels as Scene keys and applying a label to each scene. The label is actually applied to a Trigger Group and Action Selector so you will get your labels just as you desire and the keys will be controlling the group on the lighting app. As Claude says, it has a real advantage in only lighting up 1 indicator, rather than having all 4 On whenever the group is On.
