    Hello,

    I will try to assist..

How 'slowly' would you like the light to turn on on a quick press?

    Cheers..

Hmm unfortunately I dont quite understand what you mean..

So do you wish for it to ramp up slowly over say 4 seconds? or just go to a low level on a short press which you can then long press to ramp up? And then the reverse when it goes off?

    Cheers..

    Hello,

Unfortunately I do not think this functionality is available as standard functions in a switch..

You should be able to however achieve this functionality by utilising the logic capabilities of a touchscreen, PAC, or Wiser..

Setup a phantom GA, which the switch activates.. Logic monitors this group and uses a ramp to % over period when group goes on and off..

    Cheers..

On the key group select the GA you want to control. Then go to the Key Function tab and for Short Release select Downcycle and LongPress EndRamp.

A short press will alternate ramping up and down. A long press will stop at the current level. The ramp rate is determined by the Ramp1 parameter on the Global page.

The limitaton with this is the ramp function only ramps down to 1% (There was an issue with early dimmers extinguishing the indicators too early), so the indicator won't extinguish. I don't know of any way of changing this behaviour on a Neo or DLT.

The alternative is to create 2 scenes. One to ramp up and the second to ramp down. Give them action selectors of 0 (for down) and 255 for up on a new action group, then set the short press to toggle on the selected action group.

Finally, you could set short release to Ramp Off and Long Press to Ramp Recall 1. A long press will ramp the light up and a short press will ramp down (to fully off). Ramp 1 controls the ramp off rate and ramp2 the ramp on rate
