Dali Error

Hi all,

I am Rajeev, i have installed the DAlI gateway in one of my project, where i have given the single light fixture control, group control etc.

I have installed the Mutli Sensor 5753PEIRL for both Ocuupancy and Light Level Control in the Workstation area.

I have noticed that say 6 fixture namely a,b,c,d,e & f are assigned for Sensor A for both light level and Occupancy by assiging group address 128 (C-BUS), within 3 days, the six fixtures will automatically turns of 1 by 1 within 2 mins.
If i turn on through the Relay also the same process continues.

But when i turn ON the C-Bus group address assigned for the DALI Group, then it will stay normal. but also the process continues once in a month.

And when i check the APPLICATION Log it shows error Ballast 42 Not responding.

Kindly help to solve the above problem.

In this installation do you have some dali ballast "unit" address mapped to CBus groups and also some dali "group" address for the same fittings mapped to CBus groups and are trying to use them both?

For example using a mapped dali unit address to control one light in a room and also have a mapped dali group address to control the whole room.
This wont work.

No i haven't given any single light fixture control in the project, i have group of light fixtures mapped to the C-Bus.

i am using it for Occupancy as well as Light level function using the 5753PIERL Multi Sensor only in the workstation area and dimming function using the 5052Nl in Cabins.

 

Could the corridor linking feature of the sensor be playing havoc with your installation?
