    Hi niciinnz,

    You're best off asking this question on the CQC forums rather than the CBus forums. In the past you have needed to sign an agreement with Clipsal before being sent the driver by its author ("rhamer" on both the CBus and CQC forums).

    In recent versions of CQC, a new feature was added such that the driver could be encrypted, which meant it could be included as part of the package without breaking any agreements. However, due to some minor inconsistencies in amongst the changeover, the packaged driver broke, and I believe has temporarily been removed from the latest release. But it should be back.

    In summary;
    1. For questions about CQC, best post on the CQC forum.
    2. Dean or rhamer should be able to either get the driver to you, or have a working version packaged in the next release. Or both.

    We need to pressure Rohan or get a statement here as to the current status of the Clipsal requirements.

    The driver was written using the public release protocol and at the time you ha to sign up for it.

    The protocols have been publicly released for all now but the status for the driver has not changed.

    Do we still need permission from Clipsal to use the CQC driver which is written based on the information in the PRP?

    And yes, the CQC forums are a better place to go to, but you can ask here.

    If the above is not the case anymore then one of us here can send you the driver very easily
