    Hi,

I constantly have issues connecting to my CBUS network in my house.
The error message constantly tells me " you cannot connect to the network - specified port is in use"
I am running Toolkit 1.15.5 and using a CBUS 2 PC interface connected to my laptop with USB.
I scan the COM ports and find the PCI - use it as the default interface, but not much luck.
I continue moving the USB around the lap top ports and eventually it finds it.
It is getting a little monotonous (and annoying!) - is there some setting I am missing or a physical connection procedure that I need to change?
    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks
    Stuart

First use Windows Device Manager to identify the CBus interface Com port.
In CBus Toolkit under network tab use edit network to check that the project is using the same Com port number you found in device manager.
Windows may well select a new Com port number if you move the USB to a different socket.
