    Hi,

I have c-gate running on a linux box. It has been working fine for about a year now. Now when i try and do a command such as "on 254/136/25" which used to work i am getting an error:

    408 Operation failed: //NUNDAH/254/136/25

Any ideas why this has started happening. If i fiddle around closing the network and doing tree commands i can sometimes get it working again but shortly thereafter will go back to this error. Seems to work on some units but not on others. I'm a bit stumped. Thoughts ?

    hi hvyprq,

Have you recently upgraded or reinstalled any software on the machine? Toolkit, C-Gate, S+, etc?

Most likely cause is that the state of the object is not OK - you can see this by doing:

    get 254/136/25 *

Any further diagnosis is hard without a log.

    Hi hvyprq,

The most likely cause is that C-Gate is not able to sync your network. This may be due to network issues, but we can't rule other causes yet either.

I have sent you a PM with some diagnostic steps to follow.

I have the same issue - and cannot find out how to investigate / resolve or fix the issue.

    net list
    > 131 network=254 State=error InterfaceState=running

    tree 254
    - every unit has state=error

How do I find out what the error is? I have rebooted my Wiser2 several times - the problem goes away for a short while then next day, all tits-up again.

I am running the C-gate server on Linux.
