    Hi,

I get the following symptom with CBTI.

It is connected to an incoming line and configured with all default parameters, i.e. to answer on the 3rd ring.

The first time the line rings, the unit will immediately pick up the line but won't start the IVR process, i.e. the line will stay connected but nothing happens.

You then put the phone down and immediately re-dial, this time the system will answer on the 3rd ring and everything works fine.

If you wait a few minutes, the same thing happens, it answers on the 1st ring, nothing happens, you re-dial and it will answer on the 3rd ring and will work normally.

    I'm running 2.2.0.215.

Any idea what's going on here?

    What country are you in?

What country have you set up the CBTI for?

Every country has a different telephone system, differences include the network impedance, ring cadence, line voltage, ring voltage, it goes on and on.

For any meaningful assessment, you need to provide as much information as possible.

I'm in South Africa and have set the system to UK settings.

And before we get into a debate about this, Clipsal SA sold me the product.
