I was adding a unit and noticed for the first time that there are two units called Burden and cable (Toolkit V1.7.3)

While I know what they are, I cant work out why they get included here and why they get an address?

They don't have a window that opens up for configuration (as you would expect), but they do have an address

Can anyone shed some light on the matter?

    Hi Mick,

Burden and cable "units" are for the Calculator (Network node) to produce as close to reality estimates as possible. These "units" have addresses so that they could appear among other units in the list of database units in the same format. Because it is not recommended to have more than 100 units on the network there won't be a lack of free address numbers.
