Talking to our local rep apparently their is a SHAC2 comming also. So if your about to go down this path may pay to wait for the newer hardware as it will be supported for longer..

Website info is incorrect for NAC/SHAC product dis-continued.
    Current NAC/SHAC are still available.

You are correct that, the NAC and SHAC will be migrated with new part numbers to newer versions later 2020,
part of it is also the re-branding from "clipsal C-Bus" to "SE Spacelogic C-Bus".

From what we have seen on most customer projects, the existing controllers work fine for their intended applications, the newer versions will have increased microprocessing power though due to a change on some internal components.

After extensive research and development, and billions of dollars spent, they changed the colour :)

Local rep confirmed that 5500SHAC2 is updated CPU but not due till December. The didn't say what the 5500AC2 is marketed at.

LOL - ... Extremely RARE Items always attract a huge premium, even if they have been superceded ..... as Icons to be admired.

You posted your C-Bus automation plan in the General Discussion Forum (image shown below) and your white faced SHAC (or NAC) will be the only module in your board that doesn't match the rest of your C-Bus panel!! Everyone you show will look at your completed board and wonder, why is that one white?

I'm sure you're across this, but you'll want to ignore your drawing's stated model numbers and choose modules with inbuilt power supplies, you're gonna need some. :p

    Cheers,

    Brad

Good spotting, The part numbers are counter intuitive, with powersupply no P without Power P appended. I was planning on ordering the moduels with included power supplies.

With the rebrand from Wiser to Spacelogic, wouldn't be at all supprised if the modules get a new paint job in the near future to match.[IMG]
