5200WHC2 - changes

PICED software / Wiser2 Firmware:
DEVS team are currently testing build of the software/firmware that is to resolve the "Flash player" issue.
Its been a long long long time coming I know, however, hoping for some resolution not too far off.

Can some of you send me some 5200WHC2 project files for our DEVS team to do some testing?
Theres a few bugs still and the team would like to do more internal testing on actual projects, to assist in testing the build stability for various functions you may be doing before they are ready to release any new versions.

5200WHC2 product changes:
The Wifi components that we use have gone EOL, for the easiest fix the manufacturing team have removed the WiFi from the product and are re-birthing it with "no wireless" functionality...ie..you will need to run an ethernet cable to the controller or use a 3rd party Wifi repeater with RJ45 ethernet on it.

Product will continue on as 5200HC reference and will look at what can be done for pricing etc.

Availability of new 5200HC:
We are still establishing the manufacture /supply of the new unit, so there may be some stock outages, I suggest if you want any of the current 5200WHC2 that you place your orders.

Future on the Wiser 2:
I'm advised that the future view down the track is to get an easier front end on the SHAC/AC so that it can replace the 5200WHC2, however, that will require alot of changes to the existing SHAC/AC product so that it provides the same easy configuration/programming/graphics setup that the 5200WHC2 is a favourite for.

updated PICED + firmware has moved on to field trials for the 5200WHC2.

Field Trial software (whole new PICED) is receiving good feedback from the external testers that have volunteered their services. (Thank you to all of you)

A few bugs but the HTML5 is working well.

New hardware 5200HC2 (without WiFi) is progressing, but due to some component shortages..has been delayed,
we are hoping for April / May delivery with the new PICED software.

any further updates on the 5200HC status and availability. Also any commitment to the new / additional front end for the 5200AC to provide the options to mirror the 5200WHC2 graphical interface via the Wiser app.

 

will now be called SpaceLogic Home Controller, no longer "Wiser" (due to other Global SE Wiser products).

Product delivery has creeped again, hoping for Early July to AU ( yes, we are using air freight).
NZ will be approx 3-4 Weeks after they land in AU.

Software Status:
HTML supported instead of Flashplayer.
Awaiting build this week for fix on Power monitoring and system IO issues.
Still issues with HVAC status / control updates

Hoping for June release (TBC), otherwise its due to come our with the revised product.

Product should be turned on in next few days to start taking backorders as 5200WHC2 part number.

no update there sorry.

Easier graphics creation and a programming helper /alternate has been on the wish list for some time.

I have also added to the wish list native MQTT support, I see some threads on here for MQTT integration and we have created our own Lua script for use by EcoXpert Partners.

We don't put the scripts on public sites or even Schneider Global sites, depending on the experience of the installer, we are not resourced for general support to people with little or no Lua or C-Bus experience.

Have replaced my wiser 2 with new SpaceLogic Home Controller. Having issues with remote connection. Can connect local network no isuues. iIs anyone else having remote connection issues.

I am sorry to let you know that I have been informed by our software team that there is a error in our the wiser2 firmware that lock the port to port 80 instead of accepting the assign port that is assigned in PICED. A new firmware fix is mean to be release shortly. I am sorry for the inconvenient.

Currently work around is to use port 80 until the new firmware is release

 

Does anyone know where I can buy a 5200WHC2 unit in the UK? Or even buy from oversees and have shipped to the UK?

 

Does anyone know if the latest version (Sep 2022 4.14.1.142) fixes this issue?

 

Wiser2 Programming
Hi Everyone. I am a newbie here, trying to replace my wiser 1 with a wiser 2. I have uploaded all the widgets and the project into the wiser 2. I was wondering if anyone has instructions to do the network programming in the wiser 2.
I appreciate any help you can provide.

 

Is there any update on this situation. Is Remote Access still not possible?
