    Hi

    I'm running Toolkit 1.10.18

I have scheduling enabled and the program mode of the thermostat works fine.

Whenever I download from the Database to the Network the 4 Zone Thermostat switches from Program Mode to Manual Mode

I tried uploading from the Thermostat from the network to the database and then downloading to the network and it still goes back into manual mode.

I'm trying to work out what I am doing wrong ???

    Thanks
    Michael

    Hi Michael,

I think there was some technical reason for this behavior and that was related to the Master/Slave Thermostat concept but I will investigate and get back to you on this.

When you load programming into the thermostat, it needs to change a bunch of settings around - what you are seeing is, I believe, normal.

Okay .... its a bit annoying .... because when I do a remote download I have to get the client to change the settings on the Thermostat to get their programmed schedules working again.

I would have thought it was desirable to download to c-bus and have everything working for the client

Yes, completely agree. Unfortunately this unit is more complex internally than many others and it's just not possible.

do you have a colour touch (or PAC??) on site?

if you do the are in-built system IO that may help put things back in 'program' mode for you.

See PICED help file...\system IO variables\inbuilt system IO\HVAC app built in system IO.
