I am after the IR codes which I can download to the Matrix for the Yamaha TX-492 Tuner if anyone has them. I want to be able to select channel presets..

Most Yamaha amp remotes have the tuner codes on the remote.

You could always go to a shop with a learning remote and learn the codes to take home.

Sorry, can't be much more help than that.

    Yamaha Tuner IR CODES

Trouble is the tuner does not come with a remote, so i need to find someone who has a remote which controlls seperate components, such as an AMP, (not home theatre) Tuner, DVD, etc...

I have the IR codes in hex form, but dont know how to get them into software or the matrix??

That's my experience as well, Yam Tuners do not come with remote. But all Yamaha receiver remotes (at least the ones I have seen) have the tuner controls on them - hence my suggestion, go to a shop and use the amp remote and train your own remote with the codes).

Cant help with the Hex codes though - sorry
