I've got a bunch of schedules which are stored in a PAC. Now that I have a Wiser on the network too, it seems to make sense to transfer them across to the Wiser to enable easy editing (from a web browser vs firing up PICED each time I want to make a change).

    1. That being said are there reasons why the Wiser isn't as good as a PAC for running schedules?

    2. Is there an easy way to transfer them from one project file to the other?

    3. Can the same be said for scenes which I want to make more easily user editable.

    Cheers

The Wiser uses the same Scheduler, so it will be just as good.

Yes. You can import aspects of one project to another using templates. See the FAQ topic "Copying from one project to another".

The Wiser uses mostly the same Scene code, so it will operate the same. The bonus is that the Scenes are easy to edit.

But there is no web interface for changing scheduler times on the wiser yet is there?

On the flip side, if the plug-pack to the wiser ever gets pulled, your schedules/scenes/wiser/etc stop working. The PAC, being C-Bus powered, is always on as long as C-Bus is working.

Yes. This was added with Wiser skins version 3.9, delivered with PICED V4.7
