Had meter (EN40P) working beautifully, with some really impressive graphs being generated on wiser. Wrote some new scenes for the project transferred them to wiser, now all the graphs, costs,CO2 etc have been reset to zero. I think this may have been covered in another post somewhere but I can't seem to locate it. What am I missing, I was hoping that wiser would retain all history of power usage and just pick up where it left off.
    Welcome all help
    Regards

Wiser does remember the history, but when you transfer a project to the Wiser unit, the history gets overwritten with the content of the project you transferred.

To avoid this, the process to update a Wiser (or Colour C-Touch) project is:
    1. Transfer project from unit back to PICED (this contains power meter history, plus user changes to scenes and schedules).
    2. Edit project
    3. Transfer project back to the unit.

The easiest way to transfer a project from the unit back to PICED is to open the project, then use the Transfer | Refresh Project From Unit menu item.

The easiest way to transfer a project from the unit back to PICED is to open the project, then use the Transfer | Refresh Project From Unit menu item.[/QUOTE]

Are there any detailed notes on this procedure:
    1. I open project with Piced
    2. I Transfer | Refresh Project From Unit
    3. Local connection, Fixed IP
    4. Retrieve Project from Wiser C:\Clipsal\PICED\Projects (this doesn't seem right)
    5. Transfer failed

Any recommended procedures greatly appreciated. Maybe from the project wizard transfer project from unit, which then opens select the archive file to open. As I am not 100% confident with this I don't want to lose the power history, I haven't gone any further.
    Regards

    Power meter

Just come across your post, was looking into finding something along the lines of the Clipsal centimeter to integrate with CBUS and wiser.

Am curious as to how the power meter your using connect into CBUS network.

    looking forward to a reply

An EN40P device is being used to monitor power consumption. The output from the EN40P is connected to a C-Bus Auxiliary Input unit, L5504AUX.

Can anyone point me in the direction of an electrical wholesaler in Melbourne who has the EN40P's in stock ... an exhaustive search in December couldn't didn't turn up any as there were production issues.

Am keen to implement the Power Usage Meters but need to track down the hardware first!

    Aux Input

    Thanks for the reply.

got a quote from a wholesaler and they have two models for the metering.

One with a pulse and one without.

Which one is required to get this project working?

I would really like to see it on the wiser it looks awesome.

Also has anyone done any diagrams of how to connect it?

The EN40P has an output of 100 pulses per kilowatt hour. If you're planning to use another type of power meter, it must also use the same pulse rate.

The pulse output of an EN40P can be connected directly to an Auxiliary Input unit.

Ok so I need to get the one with the Pulse Output then. :)
Very exciting project as would be good to cross reference the results with what the power company is charging me.

The pulse rate is critical. If it's anything other than 100 pulses per kilowatt hour, it will not work.
