Wiser Logic Wishlist

    I couldn't see a thread for this already so thought I would start one. But having played with the Wiser 2 simulator in preparation of purchase I thought I would list out some things that it would be really helpful to add.
    • Can we have a function that returns the IP address of the connecting client on the server socket APIs - at present there is no sensible way to implement security on the socket and it kind of needs it.
    • Pos2 - how come this is not implemented?!
    • Now this might be a massive ask but function pointers. Having written a telnet and HTTP client and server I am forever writing wrappers that then need to call implementation specific code and function pointers would be a much better way to do thisl
    • variable length arrays (I expect also not easy!) dealing with large numbers of big text strings means you have to be careful with memory.
    • GMT time vs local time - would be nice if both were available.

    I can but dream!!
