Wiser iPhone /iPad in landscape

    Hi is there any way that you can use wiser iPhone app in landscape orientation.

    No.. I agree it's a bit annoying though.

    It seems to be a function of how the iPad handles iPhone-only apps... if the app uses landscape on the iPhone it works the same way on the iPad, if it doesn't use landscape on the iPhone then it's stuck in portrait mode on the iPad.

    It would be nice if Apple could detect if any given app supports landscape mode on the iPhone, and if it *doesn't* then when the iPad is in landscape more it could just display the portrait mode version of the app but rotated.

    They won't do that due to the different resolutions and the strict rules they have about how the ipad has to be laid out.

    They are also playing hardball slightly with this sort of stuff to make people write a landscape version properly (or portrait) if you are going to be in that mode.

    Android will flip around between the views, but if you don't design it correctly the results are a bit ugly and thats what Apple is stopping you from doing
