Does anyone know if the Wiser controller is available in the UK or if its likely to be in the near future. I've spoken with a few resellers in the UK and they don't seem to know much about the product other than they don't stock it.

I've also called Clipsal UK, and after getting passed around several times, the person I spoke to didn't seem to have any knowledge of the Wiser Controller let along if availabile in the UK, in the end I was told to try calling schneider to see if they could help, although that didn't seem to get any further forward.

Just like to get either a yes its available, it will in the next few months, or no it will never be available in the UK.

I've seen on other threads that the Wiser will only be sold though a "point one professional". Are there any of these in the UK???

Wiser has only been released in Australia at the moment. It is expected to be released through other global regions (including the UK) in the second half of 2009. It will be up to the Schneider operation in the UK as to how it is distributed (through the eq. of PointOne or not).

    Hope this helps

    Cheers

    It's a great product!

I'd definitely chase one. It's a great product. I've managed to disable it as a router(so this not a consideration for you being in the UK), network one as a LAN device and now set up for remote access with the wonderful help from members of this forum":D, after my "point one" configured it for me.

If you can't wait, I could ask if he'd do the same for you, and export one for you....
    You won't regret getting it....

Wappinghigh - If you could get one exported for me it would be much appreciated :D

If you want to drop me a PM or I'll give you my email address and we'll try to sort something out.

    Hey Ben

It would be preferred if you could buy the units locally (in the UK). Local support will be the biggest issue. I'll follow up with the UK office on their intended launch of Wiser. Grey imports are generally not the best solution.

    Cheers

    who needs a grey import?!
Schneider UK is so fast, it makes every good new product available for Europe in days!

It is so fast because company people understand strong competition on a modern smarthome market...

After communicating with the UK office, I've been informed that Wiser is scheduled for release in the UK in January 2010

    Cheers
