I am trying to use the Wiser app on my ipod. if I am trying to do this from within my home. Do I only need to type in
LAN IP: 10.1.1.17:80 and the "admin" password?

I haven't opened up any ports to the outside world but do you need to do this even of you only want to run it locally within the local IP range?

    Thanks,

Yes Just enter your LAN IP to connect on the LAN no port forwarding should be required.

Yes, if you're running it on the LAN only, then you just need the IP of your Wiser and the admin password. You do not need to forward any ports from your edge router to the Wiser if you just want to run it on the LAN alone.

The IP and password need only be entered once in the iTouch/iPhone UI. After that it is saved on your iPhone/iTouch unless you clear it using settings.
