Wiser 2 not connecting

Hey fellas

I have a client who’s wiser 2 won’t connect anymore (app not working). I haven’t been to site yet but could be an easy fix so I don’t have to. It would appear after the client replaced there routers access to the app doesn’t work. Would this just be a router config issue or a wiser issue.

 

The wiser may be set up for DHCP so it is getting its ip address from the router. Changing the router will change the ip address. This is set in the Wiser 2 app so changing it there may fix the problem.

Just an update the wiser was bricked. I found another user (made 2016) attempted to program using latest software versions and it won’t take the newest firmware. Resulting in not being able to load the existing database to it.
Anyone had this issue?

 

I had a similar experience with a clients wiser 2 unit, no matter what we did it would not commit the update.

The update would not fail, it just wouldn’t commit after rebooting after the update procedure.

We contacted Schneider and sent the unit in to be repaired and updated by their support team.

Wiser 2 is discontinued and they won’t repair these units.
Clipsal changed the ports used by the wiser because of some security issues I believe.
I have updated one and got it working again for a customer.
