This might SOUND like a stupid question - until you try it...

How do you shroud a C-Bus wireless switch? a 90b won't fit and even if you try and butcher it a bit, it still won't fit beyond the 156/1 bracket...

Any ideas or future plans to make it work?

There is a deep mounting kit available that brings the unit off the wall so that the bosses around the mounting screws are lifted above the wall surface. This also reduces how far into the wall the unit projects. Is this the sort of thing that you're after?

    Nope:)

To meet AS3000 requirements, all live parts must be insulated from conductive materials eg. wall wrap.

yes, your method may meet the requirements (without seeing it), but would look like s**t and bring me unhappy customers:p

We've discussed this internally. There is nothing planned.

So the whole retro-fit thing is impossible on external walls without chunky mounting blocks...disapointing

Jason try the CLI 90BD I think you'll find this will do what you want to acheive, as it is deeper and wider than the 90B. It generally works better if installed into the wall bracket at pre-wire stage before the plaster board is installed. It might be tricky to install later but I'm sure you'll work it out. Good luck.
