    Problem
Having to get into and work in unfriendly spaces after connecting a laptop to a PC Interface.
    Solution.
A PC interface with a plugin wireless connection device, Bluetooth or WiFi, so one can work in a confortable setting and move around the installation (within the limits of the wireless setup).
The cost would be kept down by removing the device from the PC interface to be used on the next job.

This could be done right now using a CNI and a WiFi Access Point.

Just plug the CNI into a WiFi gateway and use a WiFi card on the laptop. Ensure that they all have compatible IP addresses set and it should just work fine.

    Exactly Richo! :)

I have a built-in 802g wi-fi card in my notebook, I just connect to my wireless gateway, which is in turn connected to my CNI, which then connects to my C-Bus.

On larger sites I run my CNI > wireless gateway connection thru the newly installed phone / data points for better reception when moving from floor to floor.
