    Hi,

    Is it possible to have a 5888TXBA wireless remote control a wired network if i have a 5800WCGA being used as a Network bridge or do i need a wireless network (ie wall switches, plugs ect.)

    At present you need to have a wireless device. The remote talks to the device, the device makes cbus commands which are then sent through the gateway. (Remotes dont talk cbus commands).

    This situation will one day change but for now, thats it.

    Ashleigh,

    Thanks for the quick response, So if i were to add a 5858R8F1AA to the wireless network that means i would only be able to contol eight seperate scenes/load groups which i attach to the button on the wireless switch.

    do you have any idea when the 5888TXBA will be able to control directly to the gateway?

    Program instruction doccument

    So, we can use wireless remote to control the wired system (on/off, dimmer, sence)?!

    If that is, how can I program for the remote and wireless switches?! Is there any instruction doccument for this case?

    Any progress of the ability of controlling a wired system with a wireless remote? (Directly thru the gateway...)

    Yes there is progress but a release date can't be promised.
