I know that Clipsal aren't going to update their software till the 2nd Q of 2007 but has anyone had any problems with toolkit or piced using Vista?
My computer is on its last legs and would like to buy a new one but everything has Vista in it.

Unoffical tests suggest there is no problems with our software on Vista, however USB devices will most likely need to wait for updated drivers. (PACA, Matrix Switcher) Also thirdparty apps like Lantronix redirector etc.. for the CNI haven't been tested yet.

It's crazy that MS have forced everyone to sell Vista with no XP option. I always wait 6-12 months after a Windows release before I upgrade. At least large companies can still purchase with XP, but the little bloke is having his hand forced.

I have recently bought a new laptop running Vista home basic as my last one died.
The Current version of Toolkit works fine, but Piced will not load.
As I understand it, updated drivers will be available later in the year.
Has anyone else had the same issue and will this be rectified?

    Thanks

Certainly the plan is to have all USB devices supported under Windows Vista.

    Vista + CNI

    Richo,

I'm assuming (terrible thing I know... ) from your comments running Toolkit and Schedule Plus on a PC with Vista using a CNI would be OK?

Yeah, should be pretty safe. Clipsal haven't done any "official" testing yet, but that is due to start soon. PCI's would also be fine.
