Why aren’t these AU “C-Bus compatible” LED lists mentioned more often?

I’ve been reading a lot of C-Bus LED/dimmer threads and it seems people are still hunting for “compatible” LEDs via trial and error.

In Australia, though, I’ve come across two local websites that publish compatibility lists for LEDs explicitly stated to work with C-Bus leading-edge dimming. Many of the lamps on those lists are also surprisingly cheap.

I’m curious why these lists don’t seem to get referenced much here.

The trouble with these things is that the manufacturers update their products, and the compatibility that was there is gone.

Keeping the lists up to date is really difficult.

And manufacturers are known to tell lies, or forget to update the compatibility statement as well, when they make their next cost-down.

    It's a bit like playing whack-a-mole.

But these lists are published by retailers/distributors for products they’re actively selling right now, not a random PDF from years ago.

If a LED don't work properly on C-Bus (flicker, drop-out at low levels, etc.), wouldn’t they get returns/complaints pretty quickly and be forced to update the list? Otherwise they’re basically creating their own support workload.
