I was just wondering who owns the cbusforums.com website? I see that there's an admin user, but they've not been online for a few years.

Is this site run by Clipsal?

Thanks Daryl, I had a read but couldn't see who actually owns it? Was just wondering if it was a member of the forum that had set it up as a help site, or the CBus engineers setting it up as some form of unofficial communication.

This is how I understand it.
CBus forum is an unofficial forum for users to communicate.
There are CIS staff on here sometimes giving a bit of assistance.

    Who am I

Well as my profile shows, I'm a benevolent dictator.

I don't work for Clipsal or Schneider. It does not cost a lot to host this site and I do it from goodness of my little heart.

I don't actually check in here all that often. Every now and again I update my profile location as I travel the world looking for interesting things.

    Enjoy!

I just looked up where the heck is Petersburg, Alaska.

Population about 3,030. I have no idea why our host would want to go there, let alone how on earth he, she, or it got there.

Hey, perhaps there's an element of The Stig... nobody actually knows!

Ha ha ha fantastic: Alaska Marine Highway

Praps we need to post some suggestions for where "admin" should visit next.

I am amused, surely most people's internet sleuthing should be better than this ;-p

Also I like how the Admin only joined in 2007, when the site was started in 2004...

    Hey AQ ;-)

Oh and I think Admin would love Estonia....

Thanks for the info :). I've got a quick question that I'll PM to your admin account that's probably better off the forum.
