Where to start

    hi my name is daniel
    i am new to this stuff and the forum
    but am pretty sure this is the type of career i would like to get into
    i am currently enrolled in a electrical principles course then next my open cableing
    then have been told t get c-bus or other automation courses under my belt
    as i have no experience in this area
    i would like to know where i should start
    and is there information for begginers on this forum ?

    C-Bus Training

    I've attached an intro to C-Bus guide from the basic C-Bus manual. This will give you a decent understanding of what C-Bus is and what it's about.

    do you need to be an electrician to fit this
    iam doing all the steps to get my austel ticket at the moment
    but someone told me today that you may need to be an electrician to fit it ??

    Hi Daniel

    In Australia you are required to hold an electrical licence to carry out any mains rated (240 volt) work.

    You do not need an electrical licence for programming C-Bus.
