    Guys,

I'm busy with a project where wave files are played on the colour touch from Logic.

This happens when a certain condition becomes true.
When I'm simulating the action on PICED or run it live from PC while connected to C-bus, all works well.
When I download to the CTC, an error message comes up stating that the wave file is missing the moment the condition becomes true.
To test the path, I executed this same wave file directly from the special functions tab of the button and it works fine.

    The path is c:\clipsal\PICED\projects\project name\file.wav

    What the problem is?:(

    Thanks

    brodsky,
its a bug I reported in sep 2006 was going to be fixed
search for - missing files - and you find my entry

workaround is to make a dummy page with the file(s) on them

Tried everything, but don't seem to understand your proposal quite clearly.
    Could you please elaborate?

    brodsky,
This bug does not write file(s) referenced only in the logic section to the C-Touch unit or to the back up file, so if you are coping the project from one PC to another using the back up file the new project will be missing the file(s).
    Workaround
So to get around this long outstanding bug you have to make reference to the file(s) on a page somewhere, if only one wav file I would make a very small button some where on a page that is not used often and set the button to play the wav file in question.
This will cause Priced to write the wav file the unit and back up file.

    hope that helps
