Hi guys I have a question Is there such a thing aas a virtual group? I have
a recollection of seeing the term in documentation somewhere and can`t
remember where .If I remember correctly it allowed you to set up a form of group that could control different channels or outputs together for a specificc purpose ?

Just use normal groups, they can do that. C-Gate does have "phantom groups" but they aren't really used and may be deprecated in the future. Normal groups and scenes should do what you need.

    clarify

I have a situation where group aa is channel 2 on dimmer pack one.
group bb is channel 4 on dimmer pack 3 and group gg is channell 1 on 4 way relay. When I press button one on a four gang E 2000 sw I want to
switch on group gg , button two is set as dimmer on aa. I want to set button
three as a dimmer for aa and bb and set button four as a switch on /off for all three groups .

The standard programming of a switch allows this.. screenshot attached.. its slightly advanced programming.. you cant do it with the Simple View of the UI..You need to manipulate the checkboxes and Group Drop Down Boxes on the Blocks Tab of the Advanced View..

I hope I read your message correctly:
