    Hello,

While I am hesitant to give you a blunt no, it would be rude to not ask of your specific setup to ensure it cant be done..

What make/models ofsurveillance are you utilising, both camera and DVR..

    Cheers..

You can view a webcam from PICED, not sure is yours is supported directly. If not you might want to look at whether you need to interface it via one of the supported webcam video servers.

    Within PICED
    1) Firstly navigate to the page you want to add the webcam to
    2) Navigate to the PICED menu and select Component >> Place Web Cam
    3) Left mouse click to drop the component onto the page and position an resize as desired
    4) Double click the webcam component to open its properties
    5) Click on the Web Cam Wizard button
    6) Select the Web Camera Type (Axis 2100, IP Box IP-200, NES Video Server, SparkLAN CS-633)
    7) Enter the IP Address of your webcam
    8) Click OK
    9) If your PC or touch screen is connected to the network with the web cam you will see the live feed.

Do you know why it is inactive? and how can i activate the button??

    Hello Leonardodonny

It's really quite simple to add an ip camera page to Piced but you need to have a suitable camera with some documentation.

Piced wants a URL which will respond with a single JPEG image.

You need to find this URL for your particular camera.

Not all cameras have it, so you need to read your camera documentation.

Once you find the URL which will respond with a single JPEG image then test it by typing the address into your browser.

You should then see a JPEG image in your browser.

Select webcam as per attached picture.

Click on the page to drop it there.

Double click on the page to bring up it's properties.

See my attached picture with camera URL (yours will different as per it's documentation).

Piced does video by refreshing the JPEG at a rate which you can select on the properties page.

Finding the right URL is the only hard part and some cameras wont do a single JPEG.

    Good luck

Everything I said above applies to a project set up for a Colour touch screen or Homegate.

I'm not familiar with Wiser and I don't know why you cant place a web cam.

That is a good place to start but I am sorry I cant help.

You will need to go to 'widget manager' and place a new widget into your project.. Change your widget type to a surviellance/webcam and enter your camera details and hopefully away you go..

If you need more info let me know and i will put up some documentation to assist you..

    Cheers..

    Thank you for your answer..
well I would like to respond the answer above, but i need an urgent answer.

see, there is configure in the widget surveillance form. when i click the button it appear this image.

I know it sound absurd, but is it possible and are there any code command to put in the url box to pass this level??
so, when i click the configure button it goes to the surveillance camera without the need to input the username and password.

Well, i still can't find the jpg url.. i'm very helpful for any respond and i'm looking forward for the answer. :)

Assuming the camera has a URL for a single JPEG image, you need to find what it is.

Also I'm pretty sure Wiser cant have a username and password to access the URL and if that is the case you will have to turn off the security on the webcam.

The URL you set up is clearly a home page for the camera and you will need to look through the documentation to find a URL which will supply a single JPEG image.

Maybe if you supply the make and model of the camera someone can help.

DarylMC is correct you will need to find out what the JPEG, or snapshot URL is for your camera..

Generally you will find this in the settings page of the camera, also you will need to turn of authentication or log in for the 'snapshot' function..

Some examples of snapshot urls i have seen before:

    http://IPA.DDR.ESS.CAM:PORT/snapshot.cgi?user=admin&pwd=

    http://IPA.DDR.ESS.CAM:PORT/image/jpeg.cgi

    http://IPA.DDR.ESS.CAM:PORT/cgi-bin/video.jpg

Unfortunately I have no experience with your camera and am unable to find much info on google to help further..

    Cheers..

Morning Mr.Roosta, thank you for your answer.
Well, i have open multiple time the camera configuration and read the manual book. I still don't find the jpeg path as you describe.

But i found JPEG address in configuration > Network > RTP , in the camera configuration.

Here I share the RTP Picture:

I don't know what the RTP function. I just want to know, is there any connection between these JPG Address and the url .jpg that you describe??

you have been very helpful, still i want to know the answer and i'm looking forward for it. :D

If you could open your camera in your browser of choice and then right click and 'view image' or similar that will hopefully give you an URL you can work with. You may need to add an auth string, but see what that gives you.
