    Hi all,

I am contempLating using on of the new temperature sensor modules (E5031RDTSLWE) outside mounted under an ovehanging to keep the majority of the weather away from it.

From reading the instructions the unit doesn't measure negative temperature which isn't a big issue except that it might be exposed to negative temps - will this damage the unit?

Also are there any issues with humidity if it is left outside?

I am pretty certain I can keep rain etc away from the sensor but am conned about the long tm reliability.

    Any thoughts apreciated.

    Paul

Humidity etc won't be good for it as it is designed for indoor use so the circuit boards won't be sealed and I would also be worried about insects and the like getting into it and playing havoc.
