The option "allow current application learn" is used to ENABLE or DISABLE the learn operation of the unit.

If disabled, you cannot enter learn using the keys, and the unit will not accept learn messages over the network. This is a good security measure for switches in public areas.

There is a fail safe here: if disabled, and you power the unit off and back on again, you get 300 seconds (5 minutes) in which you can learn entry IS allowed using the keys. This is the get-out-of-jail card, allowing you to reset the unit to the factory settings, or train a gateway.

The option "Allow any application learn" has the same meaning as wired cbus. In general, leave this checked.

The option "Allow Network Learn", if disabled, will stop the unit from accepting or transmitting house code training. This is a good securiity measure for switches in public areas. But beware - if disabled you will not be able to re-assign the switch to another network, nor will you be able to use the switch to train anything else.

If the first and third options are both unchecked you can get in fairly deep doo-doo, so I'll see if Toolkit can be changed to add a big nasty warning to that effect.
