    Hi,

My 8 x EDLT panels on my network, is currently on old firmware 1.3, i would like to update them.

    Questions:
1.Do i have to use a laptop and connect to each one individually via a usb cable, whilst still connected with the pink cbus network cable?
2.Is there a way to update them all via my desktop pc? Which cant reach any of the locations to connect to the usb input at the rear?
3.If item 1 above is the way to go, then is there specific steps i need to follow to ensure i don't mess anything us?

    Thanks

Its a 1 by 1 process, pulling each them off the wall (while still leaving them plugged in to cbus) and updating from your laptop.

It takes all of 2 mins per unit, I usually have 1 programming while I am rescrewing the previous 1 back on and unscrewing the next unit.

I've never had 1 brick, the software is pretty robust.

Is there any great benefit in upgrading?

Benefit: It fixes a bug with the 3 step dimming from the 1.3 firmware.

Would you by chance know how to change the time, i cant find anything to show which of the EDLT buttons need to be pushed and held down to update the clock. My time has been 15mins too fast for years. Cant find any device with setting the time within CBUS Toolkit under the devices.

There is a key combination press option, google the manual for the eDLTs.

*note this can be disabled at toolkit so if the key press combo doesn’t work then you may need to connect to the CBUS network and reenable it.

Thank you so much. Taken us ages to confirm this. Had previously asked the installer, and they wanted a call out to simply update the clock....

If anybody is still on this thread. I started updating my eDTL but it was interrupted during the upgrade. The unit is now not recognised at all. Is there anything I can do to force the unit to redo the firmware upgrade
