Trying to get project out of Colour Touch Screen

Yesterday i was called to a house with the electric blinds not working. All the blinds are controlled through a colour touch screen. I connected to the screen with a direct connection lead, and my computer wont connect to the sceen and i can't transfer the project from the screen. It reconizes that there something with limited connectivity but it is a unknown device. Everytime i try to do the transfer from the screen, a message error keeps coming up. Any ideas on how i can get the project out of the screen?

your PC and the touchscreen are most probably on different subnets.

set the networking on both devices to be the same subnet and in the same range.

if your PC is looking for a DHCP server this will most likely happen - set your PC IP address manually
