Trigger Sonoff devices using SHAC

    makes sense but getting back to the original objective, can the SHAC subscribe to an MQTT broker?

    Just want to add to this thread for a bit of completeness for readers in the future.

    While Sonoff was the original hardware asked about, and Tasmota can be laoded onto their products, there are many other products that can have Tasmota firmware flashed as well.

    Arlec Grid Connect is one example. I have their four outlet smart power board flashed with Tasmota and connected now via MQTT to the house system. There have been other plugs from K-Mart and Bunnings as well (as low as $10 each) that can also be flashed e.g. Mirrabella, Brilliant,

    Have a look at this page for a list of Aussie available devices (pedestal Fans, Diffusers, Lights, Plugs, Swiches). If you can get Tasmota onto them, then you can get MQTT running and use the SHAC to control them and thus make them part of your C-Bus system
